Oooh, controversial statement to stimulate debate or a fact of your training programme? I work to the "Better to be 5% undertrained than 2% overtrained" mantra, but then I don't win any medals. I think the point is that rest MUST be planned into your programme and you should learn to enjoy these programmed rest periods.

I can do nagging as well! After I sent you that pdf as well ... recovery and adaptation don't happen by themselves they need to be planned for and executed with just as much fervour as the training programme!
