Today is 16 Oct 22. Time to review the purpose of this Blog - again! It is 2 years since the last review. 🤕 2022 was shaping up well and I was on track for a decent middle distance Duathlon race. Then COVID hit me! I tried to salvage the race season but never felt strong or healthy. Looking to 2023 now and focussing on being healthy and some sprint Duathlon racing mixed with some bike TT fun on the Canyon CF

Bodily Signs

Signs from the body. What do they mean?

Sore throat and yukky feeling that does not turn out to be a common cold.

Individual tender and swollen glands in the groin area.

Painful lumps appearing where your bits sit on the bike saddle.

It means phone in sick you've got the flu. Go to bed and don't think about training until you're feeling at least at 90% again. If you find a rash go to the docs instantly.

It means LISTEN to your body and to Neill's advice above.

DO NOT DO ANY TRAINING!

I repeat ... DO NOT TRAIN!

Got it?

Swollen glands, sore throat - body's reaction to infection/invasion. Give it a chance to use all available energy to heal you, the body is brilliant at doing so but you have to give it a fighting chance.
